Shipping Coverage We currently ship only within the United States of America.
Shipping Rates
- FREE SHIPPING on orders over $100 (continental U.S. only)
- $12.95 flat rate for orders under $100
- Some restrictions may apply
Carriers We ship via FedEx or Spee-Dee Delivery Service for standard orders. Large orders including coils and downspouts will ship via Common Carrier LTL freight at an additional cost.

Return Policy
Standard Returns
If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days of receipt. Please note:
- A 20% restocking fee applies to all returns
- Original shipping and handling costs are non-refundable
- You are responsible for return shipping costs

Before returning any item, you must contact us to receive authorization:

All returns must include a copy of your original receipt.
Return Conditions
To qualify for a refund, returned merchandise must be:
- In resaleable condition
- Properly packaged to prevent damage during transit
Refunds cannot be processed for items returned in poor condition.
Refund Processing
Refunds will be issued within 15 days of receiving your return via credit card refund, in-house credit, or check.
Return Shipping
For your protection, we recommend using FedEx or insured parcel post. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipment. Customers must file any shipping damage claims directly with the carrier.
Special Orders
Special order items are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Damaged or Missing Items
You must notify us within 10 days of the delivery date if your package arrives damaged or with missing items.
Required Documentation for Damaged Shipments
Email the following photos to order@americangutters.com with your invoice number:
- The shipping box (exterior)
- The shipping label (clearly visible)
- Contents inside the box
- All four sides of the box
Important: Retain the box and all damaged goods until the investigation is complete. Disposing of any materials may result in automatic denial of your claim.
Refused Package Policy
Package Refusal Terms
By placing an order on our website, you agree to the following terms regarding package delivery and refusal:
Customer Responsibility for Refused Packages
If you refuse delivery of a package for any reason other than visible damage or a shipping error on our part, you will be responsible for the following costs:
- Outbound Shipping Costs: The full cost of shipping the package to you
- Return Shipping Costs: The full cost of the package being returned to our facility
- Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee calculated on the merchandise subtotal
Refund Process for Refused Packages
When a refused package is returned to our facility:
- We will process your refund within [insert timeframe, e.g., 5-7 business days] of receiving the returned merchandise
- Your refund will be calculated as: Original Purchase Price - Outbound Shipping - Return Shipping - 20% Restocking Fee
- Refunds will be issued as store credit.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable
Example Calculation
- Order Subtotal: $100.00
- Outbound Shipping: $15.00
- Return Shipping: $15.00
- Restocking Fee (20%): $20.00
- Total Refund: $50.00
Exceptions
This policy does not apply in the following circumstances:
- The package arrives damaged
- We shipped the wrong item(s)
- The item(s) received are defective or not as described
- There was an error in our shipping process
In these cases, we will cover all return shipping costs and issue a full refund with no restocking fee.
